Olive leaves

Olive tree (Olea europaea) is a fruit tree belonging to the Oleaceae family. Recognizable by its numerous branches. Bearing grayish-green evergreen leaves and stone fruits from which olive oil is extracted.

Harvesting and drying

Our olive leaves come from a natural cultivation in the South of France. PortugalOur trees are not treated with pesticides or other products harmful to health. Our leaves are harvested by hand. Then washed in clear running water and dried naturally without the use of any industrial process.

The benefits of olive leaves

Commonly used to treat two diseases: diabetes and hypertension. It contains molecules capable of lowering bad cholesterol transporters (LDL) and increasing the levels of good cholesterol transporters (HDL). It also prevents atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.

Storage method

As an infusion: 20 dried leaves to 30 cl water. Boil for 30 seconds and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Strain. Drink at least 3 cups a day, with meals.
In tea: Place a handful of olive leaves in 1 liter of cold water and bring to the boil. Once boiling, cover the pot with a lid and leave to infuse for around 10 minutes.
In your kitchen: You can incorporate the leaves directly into your sauces or dishes as you would with bay leaves.
